While browsing for cool videos on Carribbean airport landings to study techniques, I came across two cool videos by some talented cameraman on Youtube showing clear view of workings of TGPY airport tower. This motivated me to fly from TGPY to TNCM on Vatsim !! HAHAHAH
Before you view my screenshots of the gorgeous flight from TGPY Maurice Bishop International Airport formerly known as Point Salines International Airport located on Point Salines the most southwestern point of the island of Grenada in the parish of the capital city of St. George's which is about 5 miles (8.0 km) north of the airport to TNCM which is one of most recognizable airports and needs no introduction, please do the following below:
On climb to FL350 after take off from TGPY to make 180 degree left turn toward RIBOR
180 degree turn is completed and still on climb to FL350 crossing island of Grenada
Leaving the island of Grenada
Still on climb above gorgeous Caribbean Sea
Maneuvering to intercept RIBOR above islands of St. Vincent and the Grenadines
Cruising at FL350
Passing TVSU Union Island Airport in Union Island of Grenadines
Passing TVSC Canouan Airport located on the island of Canouan in Saint Vincent and the Grenadines
Passing TVSB James F. Mitchell international airport located near Paget Farm IN Bequia island of the Grenadines. I
Cruising at FL350
Passing TLPL Hewanorra International Airport near Vieux Fort Quarter, Saint Lucia
Intercepting BNE above the same airport
Cruising toward to intercept FOF above island of Martinique
Intercepting PPR passing TFFR Pointe-à-Pitre International Airport or Pointe-à-Pitre Le Raizet Airport or Aéroport Guadeloupe Pôle Caraïbes located in Abymes, 2.4 km (1.3 NM) north-northeast of Pointe-à-Pitre on the island of Grande-Terre in Guadeloupe. If you have sharp eyes, you can see a plane taking off from TFFR runway
Crossing gorgeous landscape of Guadeloupe
Intercepting ANU above Antigua and Barbuda and turning left on descent toward TNCM
On final approach to runway 10 of TNCM
Moments from touchdown
And because of my rapid typing, I accidentally exited from FSX in middle of replay meaning I lost opportunity to take more screenshots and video of what was extremely smoothest and perfect soft landing on runway!!! PISSED ME OFF!!!
Thank you for viewing and please stay tuned for more exciting flights.
Regards,
Aharon
