As near as I can tell, I've got FSACARS working correctly. I've imported the cva.ini file, and it appears to be recording and submitting flights correctly.

I don't see my flight on the web map on the site, however.... Not sure why, any ideas?

Firewall. You will need to add an exception for fsacars. Either that or your anti virus suite. The position reports are done automatically. Just the sort of thing that firewalls and anti virus programs can mistake for ad ware or viruses.

Hmmm... something new here. Flew KSLC to CYWG... and when I sent the log file, it said there was no log file to send...

Not sure what happened to the log... everything was running as it should, near as I could tell...

Keith, here's one of my logs, compare it and see if you have something similar in FSacarslog.txt. Do you use the auto-start feature? Do you have a Block-to-Block line near the end of your log?

Ok, I THINK this damn thing is finally working correctly. I reinstalled the cva.ini file with the new one supplied by Chuck (Thank you sir) and added an exception to my firewall... Oh, I also disabled UpnP in my router.

I finally showed up on the main map on our site and everything appeared to send correctly.

Now if I can just get my system to run a bit smoother, I'll be in business.

Thanks to everyone for your help!

Keith you know what is great about CVA ACARS.

We now can see your performance for real

This is your flight report for a flight into Castlegar. Now your landing looks pretty rough at -738 feet per minute. Is your landing gear still attached?

Hello, Frank! Chief Threshold Excavator.... Of course the landing gear is in pieces...

Yeah it was a ROUGH bump at the end.... Why I tried to take a plane I've never flown before into Cancelgar is beyond me.... Man did I ever screw the pooch on THAT approach...

Hey... thanks for pointing it out too, Frank... Appreciate it...

:D

Bah, that's nuttin!! :p Check out my landing on Saturday at Moose Jaw. I was running SB weather and the winds were shifting all over the place. I think I hit at over 1200ft/min.

Compressed the landing gear that hard that I scraped paint off the bottom of both engine nacelles!!

Oh, now let's not start a competition for the hardest landing (cause I know who'd win - me!) :D (and I don't want to make you guys feel .... bad)

But Frank, that really is a cruel welcome back, pointing out his first landing v/s. but I guess you guys DO know each other.....

Was going to do a flight, but don't show up on the map. I noticed I am off the roster page AGAIN......I can only assume that may be part of the problem.
Everything else, seems to be fine. The Acars realtime is showing messages, but the "VA Site" link in FS Acars doesn't show up.
Anyways, can I be added back on to the roster page please.

Hi Bruce! I just did some quick checking and you are still in the database. The roster pages are automated so that if a pilot does not fly for a month or two, it just doesn't display them. You are still on the roster, you just won't be visible again until a flight is submitted.

As far as the VA Link in FSAcars, I am not sure if that was ever set up in the first place. Were you visible on the CVA site map or not?

I have checked the logs and I see no evidence of you being connected to the database...? Did you enable a firewall or get different antivirus since the last time you logged a flight?
