Hello Carlos
I am not sure your level of experience when it comes to computers or hardware. But lets start with this

open your web brouse (internet explorer or firefox). Note if you are reading this it is allready open. :p

in the address bar where you see (http://wwwblablabla)
type this IP address "192.168.2.1" /without the quotes of course.

This will open your router config screen.
click LOG IN (without any password unless you set one allready then you must use a password)

left column you will see firewall (click on this to get the firewall config screen)

here you can turn it of and try your FACARS.

should you whant to use the firewall, then in the same set up area you can add the program.

here is where you can get the Manual. (by the way that is not a Spanish guy :D )
http://www.belkin.com/support....&scid=0

look at page 55 and 56 firewall setup
Let me know if this works

Frank

Thanks my friend, went to the manual and read it, and i know is not in spanish, but as far as i am concerned it could be in chinese. I could disable the firewall, but thats as far as i could get.
Will try to make a flight without the routers firewall and let you know.
Thanks anyway for you patience

I also completely disable the firewall on my router. Since I've got one installed on my computer i have no need for the one with the router.

Unfortunately, I believe fsacars uses the standard internet explorer port for html transfers...port 80. Port 80 is usually wide open in all routers. I use a DLink router and I have not had to open any ports for FSAcars.

I suspect there is probably a problem with your .ini file then. I used to have the DI-604 and always DMZed my IP address and FSACARS always worked.

Remove the router and connect directly to the internet and try this. If it works then your router is the problem. If it does not then we have eliminated this diagnosis.

The routers not the problem. I had it disconnected and still didn't work. So that eliminates everything except maybe the .ini file ???

Hi Carlos,

How are you making out? One thing I might be able to do is to remote connect to your computer and check your configuration but we would have to install some additional software, or , if you have MSN Messenger then I could do it via the remote control on that.

Keep us posted!

Cheers!

FSinn Chat will usually not work untill you go to Start-All Programs scroll down and find FSFDt click on that and then click on FSInn UI and start it from there Open chat and the next time you open CoPilot the normal way the chat feature should work every time after that It is a bug noted in FCCopilot forums

I logged 2 flights earlier today and both flights are not showing up on the schedule nor is my ID? Both flights were accepted or least I think they were, nothing to the contrary? Any ideas here?
