Hi Carlos, I have sent you a PM with a link to a custom ini file that should work straight out of the box. Give it a try and let us know.

Quick question -- is there any way to claim credit for an uncompleted flight?

My sob story is.... about 1/2 hour out of CYYZ from CYWG on Sunday night, FS and everything with it went south.... FSACARS then totally seemed to loose the log of hours flown up to that point.

So, my guess is that the 2 hours or so up to that point are gone forever - or is there something else I should have done?

(PS, It's not so much the hours, as the inactive label I was trying to get rid of!)

LOL

Yes...I've made you "Active" now and fixed your hours :)

Carlos can let me know if he needs the same.

Cheers!

The only thing I can think of is that FSACARS is not started properly. I can see you up on VATSIM but FSACARS is not reporting you active.

That FSInn chat is a bit challenging. You have to really spend time with the manual and make sure you're very familiar with the basics. Have you got all the other FSInn stuff working and can use all the tools and buttons?

We've had a number of people trying to use FSInn for chat for a while without success. Not all of us have problems with it but I stopped using FSInn and can't help much. I just remember I had to go through the manual really slowly and carefully. Are you patient? If not, just use SB.

FSINN chat can use TeamSpeak or RogerWilco or it own built in VVL. Your problem is most likely that your settings are not set up correctly in your option control panel.

Hi Carlos,

Did you make sure to click on the "Start Log" button?

You need to make sure you first are stopped at the gate with the parking brakes on. Then, startup FSAcars, and fill out your flight plan and then click the start log button. At this point, start your taxi and you should see you online. If not, something is not configured correctly and we need to look at this further.

Let us know.

Cheers!

Hi Carlos, I just ran a quick test using a copy of the ini file that I sent you. Basically, I logged on as you. It showed up fine on the map so the problem is not with the ini file.

Most likely it is your firewall. You will need an exception in your firewall so FSAcars can automatically send your position data.

Hope this helps,
