Did you check to see if you have an exclusion in your firewall program to allow fsacars?

Also, did you try "refreshing" the <span style='font-size:9pt;line-height:100%'><span style='font-family:georgia'>CVA Home page</span>
</span> to see yourself on the map?

I too was able to log and send a qwick and simple test flight which worked perfectly, but not shown on the CVA Home page. I saw Bob222 and 582, but I did not show up. ???

Hi James, do you know if you are running any sort of firewall program? In order to show up on the front page map, fsacars must send automated reports to the site. To a firewall program, this looks evil and most firewalls will not let it send the data unless you tell the firewall program that it is alright.

Check it out and if you do have a firewall program, tell it that fsacars is ok...make an exclusion.

Hope this helps

Ya, I tried the exclusion and then I turned it off. I don't think my router would block it......I did let me send the log in ???

Most (if not all) routers do have firewalls built in. Although I always have trouble forwarding ports through the router because my local IP address always changes (since there are four computers hooked up to it). Anyways, if, like me, you have a software firewall as well (AVG, Norton, Zone Alarm, etc), I find that by removing my router's firewall everything works great and since I have the software firewall as well i don't have to worry about any unwanted intrusions. I also find software firewalls to be easier to add exclusions

Also, be aware that a lot of anti-virus solutions have a built in firewall of sorts. I run AVG Free 8 and I had to put an exception in the resident shield portion of the program. If it is sending your pireps successfully, it is most definitely something on your end. If it was a problem server side, it would have rejected your pirep.

If you like, look in your root fsacars folder for a file called sendlogreport.html. Open it up and see what it says.

It should says something along the lines of ...

Are you using a router?

What are you using for an antivirus software?
