As more users make the switch to Windows 7, we are seeing new and challenging issues arise. One that has come to light has to do with the installation of the CVA.ini file into the fsacars folder.
For some reason, a few users have had the file copy into the folder as a txt file instead of an ini file.
I myself have had this happen. I attempted to rename the file to CVA.ini but it did not work.
This is the solution that I employed that did work...
I copied the default fsacars.ini file to the desktop.
I opened the CVA config file and selected all of the text and copied it.
I opened the fsacars file that I copied to the desktop and selected all the text. I then pasted the text from the CVA config.
I saved it in its present location, desktop, and with its current name, fsacars.ini file.
I then right clicked on it and select rename. Type in CVA in capital letters, save it and move it into your FSAcars folder.
I hope this helps someone.
