The unhandled exception error issue is due to the fact you need to run CVAcars in Administrator mode. You can fix this fairly easily. Once you have the program installed, on the desktop you should have a shortcut icon for CVAcars. Right click this and go to properties. The properties window will show up with a bunch of tabs you can click on. Click the Compatibility tab.

At the bottom of the window now, look for the section that says Privilege Level and there is an option / checkbox here that says "Run this program as an administrator". Click the checkbox on, then apply button / ok button. Try to re-run the program and see if this gets rid of your problem.

Cheers! :thumbsup:

Any help for this on Vista Home Basic, 32 bit with Service Package 1? This is what shows up when i don't run as a administrator, When i run as admin and try to connect it shows up "Connection Error!" in Red in the Lower Left corner.

************** JIT Debugging **************
To enable just-in-time (JIT) debugging, the .config file for this
application or computer (machine.config) must have the
jitDebugging value set in the system.windows.forms section.
The application must also be compiled with debugging
enabled.

For example:

<configuration>
<system.windows.forms jitDebugging="true" />
</configuration>

When JIT debugging is enabled, any unhandled exception
will be sent to the JIT debugger registered on the computer
rather than be handled by this dialog box.

Hi Jeremy,

You MUST run this as an administrator so ensure that you have this enabled as I have mentioned. You may also want to browse right into the install directory onto the executable file and perform the same security / run as administrator option. Vista is a strange beast :D

For the connection error, have you double checked your user ID and password? This is the same user ID you use to login to the website here to bid on a flight, and the password you use for it as well. This should be entered when you first startup the program by clicking on info in the upper left hand corner of the CVAcars screen and choosing settings. Once you have the settings screen up, enter your pilot ID / password here as described above - do not change anything else. Click the save button and then try again to see if you can verify login details.

Cheers! :thumbsup:
