I'll leave the FSacars problem to the experts, but the 9400 should give acceptable framerates. What do you mean by "awful resolution"? Do you mean the picture looks like crap or that the game moves real slow when you fly?
What's your CPU? FS-X is very intensive on the CPU, I have a quad-core Q6600 and it's barely staying above 20 FPS at triple 1024x768 using two 9600GT.
Do CTRL-ALT-DELETE, click on PERFORMANCE and leave that open while you run FS-X. Fly around for a minute and then ALT-TAB out and take a picture of the results on Task Manager. I wouldn't be surprised to see your CPU working close to max.
(Ideally you should start one thread per topic or else things can get confusing)

Carlos, the best thing I can think of is to:
- uninstall FSacars. - delete all FSacars files you downloaded from CVA. - follow these instructions, they will tell you where to download FSacars and the CONFIG file: http://canadianva.com/fsacars/Quick_Start_Guide.pdf
You might have gotten a corrupt download, or maybe a virus corrupted FSacars, or maybe an anti-virus removed part of FSacsrs while trying to clean out a virus...
Make sure to get ALL new files, do not reuse anything you have on your system, and don't skip any step in the Quick start guide, no matter how simple they may be.
