CVA0190 wrote: Can FSAcars be started and minimized to the toolbar so it's ready to go before FSX is started? Reason I ask is I really don't like to minimize FSX once I'm at the gate. I've had problems before when I've done that, especially with some add on aircraft. I have been able to use FSAcars successfully so far, but it really makes me nervous anytime I minimize FSX.
Thx guys, I'm up to 10 plus hours now and i'm enjoying this VA. Hope to join the multi's very soon.
Hey Barry if you ever need any help or questions about the multis and stuff I'd be happy to help, Im probably not the best person to ask, since im not the most experienced member here at CVA, but I'd be happy to try

Barry, start up the bare essentials in FS-X in windowed mode, start FSacars and then maximize FS-X. That's what I did when I ran both on the same PC with FS-X fullscreen.
Now I run FSacars on a network PC, so I can restart it at will and not affect FS-X.

You can do that? Geez - I didn't know this! Where is that setting???

Hmm, maybe that will stop FS-X from crashing on me if I have to ALT-TAB out...
Is it PAUSE ON TASK SWITCH in FS-X General Settings?

CVA0190 wrote: Problem solved! It was so simple I can't believe I wasn't thinking. I have Vista 64. I had FSAcars installed with a desktop icon. So I was minimizing FSX to get to FSAcars to start it. All I had to do was assign FSAcars to the Quick Launch toolbar. Now I can open it from there without touching the FSX window.
I'll have to try the same on my setup as I also have Vista 64 Ultimate Edition at home running...good to hear it has helped someone!
