Pretty self-explanatory, I run fsacars with my plane at the gate, parking brakes on but am not able to load my flight info. Any help?

All fields after clicking yes at "Plane at departure airport" are blank

Hello Bryjow123,

I'm not really sure who you are or which pilot on the CVA Roster
you are , but before we get into a whole lot of figureing as to what your trouble could be , did you read and go through the process explained in the "quick start guide" that explains everything about how to get the FSAcars working ?

Here is the link to the forum post ; http://www.canadianva.com/cgi-bin/ib/ikonboard.cgi?act=ST;f=13;t=48

If you have already done this and it still is not working, then let us know here . If you have not followed these instructions in the Quick Start Guide , then that is probably your porblem.

Good luck !

Hi Bryce,

Ahh, yes,, there you are ! :D

Welcome to Canadian Virtual Airlines
.

Ok , so I see you flew flight 8041 . and it is showing up in the PIREPS , but I see your dilemma. There is no "View Log" option showing.

I went checking some other pilots , and it seems that you are not the only one with this problem.

This looks like a job for our CVA Guru's , they should be able to figure out where you may have went wrong , or if there actually is a glitch. :p

We will give this a bit of thought and let you know. Keep watching this post and one of us will get back to you soon with some ideas.

Correct me if I'm wrong but I believe that problem arises when the FSACARS config file from the pilot centre is placed in the correct location on the user's computer. Since that contains all the information about how to connect to the VA, I would double check that it is in the correct place.

Danny , don't you really mean that this problem occurs when FSAcars config. file
is place in the "INCORRECT location "?

Bryce ,

Check out this thread, scroll down and make sure that you have done something like I have shown there in my post . Both the config. file
and the planes. file should be done the same way.

Let us know how you make out. :)

Bryce, I bet you have a folder within a folder, happens all the time when people unzip stuff.
