I keep getting a FS crashed error message in FSACARS as soon as I start it. IT then ask to revert to change / send logs only mode. I thought maybe this is because I may not be registered yet but that doesn't seem to make sense.

Anyways I sent Darryl the required info but just incase that doesn't work anyone else have any ideas? I'm using FSX and I'm not sure if this is the reason why? I also tried d/l the latest version 4015 of FSACARS

My first guess would be because you do not have FSUIPC installed. If not, go here and download either the FSUPIC4 for FSX or FSUIPC3 for FS9.

FSUIPC Downloads

Note: you do not need to purchase it in order for it to work.

My second guess would be because FS is not running.

Chuck you're right on the money.

I had the same issue, then I realized I hadn't installed FSUPIC4 for FSX. Once I did that. Problem solved.
