If I could get someone to change the last two fights I did to the DC4, not sure what is happening there, I chose the DC4 and its in the flight log but it came up as the 747F.
Thanks, Cal (CVA371)

YUP my LAST flight was the wrong plane too. Should be a B767-300 not that default B350...why dosn't the correct aircraft get loaded when the Flight Plan is downloaded from the VA. I'll eventually remember...but it is starting to Pee Me offfffff.

Yeah, I agree, it would be nice to have that plane loaded into FSacars automatically. I don't know if the current system supports that field, or if it requires a lot of work.

well, it is responsibility of CVA pilot to proofread the FSCARS flight filing BEFORE clicking on button to start the flight.

Also, instructions on CVA forums for FSCARS said you must select the plane FIRST before starting the flight.

Hi Guys,

As we did not design FSAcars there is limited options we have to modify this. However, there may be a way to do this through the filing on a flight bid through the VA.

I will ask that Chuck check with the developer and see if this is something that can be fixed. If not, we apologize but just try to be diligent on checking to ensure you always select the correct aircraft for your flight.

Cheers!

Darryl,

Can you check with Chuck for the flight level as well?

It's not worth me going through the route database and adding a flight level if we can't import it in FSacars. That's going to be a lot of work and I don't want to get into that for nothing.

I wouldn't worry so much about flight level since that isn't necessarily specific to a given route anyway, due to winds aloft, weather etc.

Hi Robert,

The flight level is only recommended because it is very likely it will change when you actually get online for the flight due to weather, traffic, etc. I would not worry to much about this but Chuck is reading the forums so likely he will chime in when he has some time.

Cheers!

Pick a flight, edit the flight level, bid on it and see what FSAcars returns. I dunno right now, tired...going to bed. If I have time later, may give it a test myself.

I'm sorry, but hitting the "Flight from VA" and then adding a Flight Level, selecting the correct aircraft and registration is NOT that much. Ask Chuck how much work goes into converting over to PHPVMS! Now, THAT was work! Trust me!

hi, i'll post here instead of making a new topic, for my last flight (flight 4003, KJFK yo CYUL) i used the Dash 8 Q300 but it showed up as the B350, i more then likely forgot to change it in FSAcars as i'm not completely used to using it yet, so may someone please fix it for me if possible?

No worries Jeremy. I am sure it won't get too far past our eagle eyed management team. :D
