I just tried installing FSAcars and am being told there is no fsacars.ini, then it asks if I want to notify microsoft and send an error report. I don't.
So why no ini. I installed FSUIPC (non-registered, even though I paid for it way back when), installed FSUIPC, moved the cva planes and cva.ini file into the FSUIPC folder, and ran it outside FS the first time. It worked outside of FS (ie no crash).
I did notice that it was planning to install it into the Program Files folder, so I navigated to the FSACARS_CVA folder and said put it there. Now there is a fsacars folder under the FSACARS_CVA folder.
Any ideas, or should I just uninstall and reinstall?
Edit Oops - I did a search for microsft and error message but not for fsacars.ini. I'll do that now.....
edit 2: search didn't help but reinstall did. I deleted the old folder, and reinstalled. I still had to create a fsacars folder under Program Files but this time the first subfolder is called fsacars. last time it was called FSACARS_CVA, must be my mistake.
