Are you using Windows Vista? Did you see two popups to allow FSUIPC to work?

Hi Kristof,

First, make sure you have downloaded our CVA FSAcars installer. The file can be found here:

FSAcars Install

Click on the large Green arrow to download the zip file. Uncompress and run the installer.

Once that is done, make sure that you go to your Pilot Center (main screen after you first login) and scroll to the bottom. There are 2 files listed here you will need to install to your FSAcars directory:

CVA.ini
CVA Planes.txt

Copy these over to the directory (overwrite the files if they already exist).

Once you have that your FSAcars should be installed.

As well, more importantly, you should read the Quick install guide that will help solve a lot of the questions you have. It is located here:

Quick Start Guide

Cheers!

I am not sure where you saw "New Button" in the guide? the only new in the guide I found was new window. Maybe can check this again. As for FSUIPC the instruction are not exactly clear but read the instruction carefully and it will kind of explain how the installation of the same 40 dollar program can be installed as a freeware. This is done without registration it will convert to a freeware program ( base ) without all the bells and whistles. I know this for a fact because I had to reinstall it (FSUIPC) last week and I had trouble, Ihad to go back and read the instructions carefully before I was able to get it to work.

This is caused by the CVA.ini file not being in the same folder with FSAcars.

Take a quick peek at the Quick Start again. Specifically the installing of the CVA.ini file and the CVA planes text file. Make sure that you unzip or extract the planes text file and place just the text file in the FSAcars folder.

You will not have the FLIGHT FROM VA button until you place the CVA.ini file that you downloaded from your Pilot Center into your FSAcars folder.

Let me be quite clear here.

You MUST download the CVA.ini file from your pilot center. You MUST place the CVA.ini file in your FSAcars folder, overwriting the exisiting one.

You MUST download the CVA planes package from your pilot center. After downloading, extract the planes text file, open the folder and copy just the textfile to your fsacars folder.

Only then, will the planets align for you and all will work as advertised.
