As for the VA link in FS Acars, I see that the one for CVA was wrong. It shows: CompanySite=http://canadianva.com/index1.html When it should show: CompanySite=http://canadianva.com/index.html
No, I have not seen myself showing up on the map at all. And as for Firewall, no....all should be fine. Not sure where it is going wrong. ???

How long does it take for a pilot report to show up on the new site? I landed at Montreal about 30 minutes ago and still nothing.
This is my first flight on the new system, I wasn't showing up on the live map either. Anti-virus is not running, I only have basic windows XP Home firewall.

Just checked, there is no pirep waiting for approval. Did you get any error messages? Better still, did you download the new fsacars ini file yet? If you didn't, the file would have went to the old system.
Check out the pinned topic in FSAcars Support concerning Quick Start Guide. There are a few subtle changes that you will need to familiarize yourself with.
Also, if FSAcars worked ok before, it should work dandy once you have the right files. I could check the old system, but I am at work...will check when I get home.
If it is there, I will transfer the time to the new system for you.

Yup, I read the 2 main threads at top and downloaded the 2 new fsacars files.
FSacars didn't give any error and seemed to work normally; log started and stopped normallly and then sent the log.

Also, I used to save the FSacars logs in case I had to resubmit a report but now that file does not seem to be used. There is a DAT file, I've saved that in a backup folder, is that file good enough to recover a lost flight?
This was a 1 hour flight from Baie Comeau to Montreal in the Dash 8-200. I'd like to get this new procedure straightened out before I lose this flight or any others.
EDIT: Just to confirm that I bid on flight 4075 and imported into FSacars using Flight From VA feature before take-off, it now says "This route has been bid on" on flight description.

I double-checked everything and can't see anything wrong.
I wanted to do a test and put in a bid for flight 4075 again, and then I thought it would be better to use another flight to make it easier to track the possible problem. So I've deleted the bid and will chose something else instead.

D'OH! ID ten T error.
The SEND LOG button is more than just a pretty decoration. I just flew Bagotville to Quebec and it sent 2 reports in. Awe crap, I thought I screwed up and sent 2 identical reports in (I didn't read the details of the flight, I usually do). It must have been my previous flight that was sitting in FSacars right where I left it.
FYI: I checked the PIREPs for my account and the flight number only displays for the first flight, but you probably already know it does this.
EDIT: Oh yeah, just checked and Live Map shows me on the ground. Maybe we have to have at least one flight in the new system to be shown on the map?

I did a flight last night and everything logged properly from KRDU to CYYZ because the PIREP was created and accepted but I did not show up on the live website page. I am ready to depart CYVR for CYWG and again not showing up. I have started my acars log and ready to taxi but not appearing on the live website. I have double checked my firewall exception and it is still intact. Not sure why I don't appear on the site??
Randy.
Is your firewall built into your router or are you using a software firewall?
If you are setting the firewall exception through your router make sure your local IP address (192.168.0.XX) is accurate. I have 4 different computers at my house and every day depending on which one is started up first the IP address of mine could be different, so I have to edit the exception in my router's firewall.
