For me as soon as I set my parking break at my arrival gate, when I minimize FSX to send my log its waiting for me, asking if I want to Accept or refuse my flight.

Sometimes if I forget to set parking break before I start my log, Fsacars doesn't mind, it just gives me a warning when I pull FSX back up.

My advice it make sure everythings in the right place, I remember when I started here my problem with Fsacars was a little error that I caused, its very easy to misplace a file into the wrong folder or whatnot.

Best of luck

-Matt

that does not help I need screenshot of the entire file directory of FSCARS.

Also, you should fill in your pilot ID on call sign too.

Plus doublecheck to see and be sure if your pilot number is correct.

Hey Carlos, I noticed that my Send Log doesn't work until I press Stop Log on the main page. I didn't used to have to do that. Is that it?

Rob, didn't you install on a new computer lately? I bet you forgot to set AUTO START-STOP FSacars when you Set-Remove Parking Brake in the Options.

You can try to go into your fsacars folder and delete both the CVA.ini and the fsacars.ini files. Next run fsacars without FS running to create a new ini file. Next, download your CVA.ini file from the site along with the CVA planes textfile. Long ago I had this problem before and I think I reinstall FSACARS and then downloaded a new CVAini. from your pilot center of the CVA web site.

Carlos,

that error shown in screenshot number 3 is COMMON for any pilot who is using FSCARS for first time.

This is precisely WHY I need to see the ENTIRE file directory of FSCARS so that I can tell you which file to delete so that you will not experience the error message again!!! There is one file that is causing error and blocking you from sending report.

Aharon

wich one is the entire file directory????
Do you mean the hole foldre? or the fsacars with the wheel?
i dont know wich one you mean.
And i have been using this for almost one year and the error msg just happened to appear this month.
I dont know why but since we started using this program a lot of ppl are haviong a lot of different programs, with XP, Vista, or firewalls, or a lot of issues, . The problem is so big we even have a forum here to help us dealing with them. And i dont remember having this much problems with sb.....
well tech is a pain in the butt.....

Do not worry about the call sign. When you download your CVA.ini form the CVA web site under Pilot Center. Your call sign will be set up correctly.
Then go to the flight schedual, pick a flight and click "Add to Bid". Start your sim and then start your FSACARS. The click on request flight from VA.

1. Enter flight level
2. Select Aircraft type
3. Select Online option
4. Enter Cargo weight

note I myself if I upgrade to the next class aircraft I add more PAX then the flight offers. (better economics)

5. Then click start LOG

Thats it Do not touch anything else. So do not touch the call sign or flight number.

Hi Carlos,

We had setup this forum quite a while ago when we first transitioned to FSAcars because there were a lot of people having difficulties.

Since that time however, many people seem to have no problem but the odd one like yours does creep up. Many times it is because people are in a rush and do not read the documentation and so we still have these questions (I know you have read the documentation).

Please be patient with us as you have to remember that not everyone has the same type of computer setup at home. There are firewall issues, routers, different operating systems, permissions issues, and a bunch of other things that can all play a part in this solution that need to be sorted through. I know it can be frustrating, but we are here to help.

Moving to the new system has been great for everyone once things are up and running. Most everything is automated where the old system was many hours of manual work. We implemented this to make things better, not worse and hopefully you can understand this and be patient as we try to help you resolve the problem.

Cheers!
