First thing make sure you have FSUIPC installed in your modules folder of flightsim. You can get the FSUIPC here.

http://www.schiratti.com/dowson.html

Then go to your pilot center on the CVA web site and download and install the FSACARS(config) and put the CVA.ini file into your FSACARS program folder.

Is this a case of having to run FSacars as administrator?

Did you go through that FSacars guide and make sure you didn't skip a step?

I take it no one knows what that particular error message means. So the advice you're getting is to do what most of us would do, which is just patiently try it again carefully. Not too helpful but it works for us, so it will work for you too.

If you get any more details or errors messages, put it up again. We always get our bugs.

Hang in there and welcome to CVA.

By any chance when you installed FSAcars, did you extract the compressed file first? This sounds a lot like an installation error.

I would go into your Windows Explorer and find the fsacars folder on your C drive and delete it. Then re-download the application from our download center, extract it and run the installer again.

After that, download a fresh ini file and the CVAplanes textfile from your Pilot Center being aware that the planes text file is also compressed and needs to be extracted.
