I'm a newbie and flew my 1st flight with FSAcars. Logged the flight ok but when I try to send it FSAcars says "eroor sending log - data base error". Any ideas?

Yup. Did you get yourself registered on a Hub with the big cheese? If not, see point #2 in the pinned messages in this discussion for details.
cheers

And welcome to CVA!

True, as soon as the big cheese gets your name in the Hub Roster (Hub of your choices of course) then you will be able to send in the flight, Right now the flight is saved in your FSACARS folder so you can continue to log hours. As soon as you name gets up there all the flights will post.

Thanks for the help. I'm Tom Baird and looking forward to taking off. At the risk of seeming even dumber, what is a pinned message and how does one read them? Also, is it common knowledge that the pilot handbook link doesn't work?

Hi Tom,

Sorry I'm away on holidays right now but just sent you an email. I need you to clarify your callsign for me as there appears to be some confusion (you registered with CVA306, but you are requesting CVA3060). Once this has been completed then I will get you setup and you will be then able to log your hours with FSAcars.

In regards to the pilot handbook - yes, I am aware and sorry about that. I've been updating the website over the past while and a few links have not been completed yet. This one is a priority for me once I return and the new handbook will be available.

Welcome to the VA!

Cheers!
