Has anyone tried splashtop hd. Its a remote connection to your computer meaning you can control you computer via phone or tablet. I tried but due to computer suckiness(oh that is a word)does not run smooth well at least for fsx. get my new computer tonight hopefully have everything backed up and good to go in a day or two. Will have better reviews in about 3 days. Even plays the sound on your device. but have to have fsx in windowed mode for it to work. So I was having a hard time trying to get to windowed mode and computer not locking up gave up on it. and does anyone know of any other really good android apps for fsx I already have fsmovmap which is really cool. I suggest if you dont already have.

Wow, what a coincidence Mike, I just got a new HTC oneX yesterday and was looking at an app called 2x Client RDP/Remote Desktop. Was hemming and hawing about installing it but I think I'll do it now. And thanks for the tip on fsmovmap might give that a whirl while I'm at it Got any more FSX andy apps? Gary

the splashtop hd one I was having a hard time trying to get it to work but seems like it will as long as you put fsx in windowed mode which I believe is possible. Fsmovmap is really cool cause you can sat image zoom right in and see your aircraft(just a symbol of your aircraft)and where its positioned on the runway plus if you input flight plan into fsx it will show on fsmap. And it tells you have fast you are going and altitude. I know there are a couple others but havent tried them out yet. There are a lot more for crappy iphone and ipad.

Yeah abdroid suppose to have some flight sims too. I think windows phone only has some some flight arcade games think there bringing back the acecombat series and if that dosent work all the way back to the game 1942 come on someo e remembers that old nintendo hit hahahaha sorry couldnt help I downloaded flight before I startedgetting searous about fsx and almost threw up. Could not believer the difference. Flight was the main reason I didnt get into fsx sooner cause after I bought it a year ago I heard that it was done and I was like great.

Okay so I am looking for a way to use my android phone or tablet as a third monitor. In a perfect world would like to use phone for fmc computer and display two mdu's on tablet. I have found idisplay but can only get it to work through wifi which the lag is beyond bad, there is a usb function but I am to dumb to figure it out apparently. Was just wondering if anyone has any options. Thanks.

okay so I played with idisplay a bit more it does work on windows 7 with minimal lag. obviously depending on your network which means might not work if you are on vatsim depending on your network connection. I have not tried on vatsim yet. But to display a screen and to use as a third monitor works pretty good. I havent been able to use in the sense of putting gauges or cdu mdu any of that. Reason being once I move it there it blacks out probably due to not same resolution but do not want to bring my resolution down to 1280 960 or whatever it wants.
It however works pretty well for showing charts, running the fsc 9 on and probably a lot of other addons that I dont know about yet. So there is my review good for windows 7 and other windows 7 programs that can run beside fsx but as far as putting views from fsx onto I couldnt get it to work.

http://power-grid.roccat.org/en/Home/If you have a iOS/android phone, this app looks very promising. Can customize the icons, text, issue multiple keystrokes, etc. I'm trying it now for iRracing. There's already a panel in the community download section. I'm going to use that one as a template to learn the advanced functions. I did a basic test on my Galaxy Nexus phone and it worked. It would be excellent for FS-X since we deal mostly in keystrokes. Only thing missing is tablet support, but lots of comments on play store asking for it already. At worst, rotate your icons 90° and you have landscape. Free limitation: 2 panels of 24 icons each. Extra custom panels available for a fee, not clear how much yet. But then again I didn't look hard, just skimmed through. Overall, promising.

http://www.gpad.mobi/content/en/editorgPad, possibly even more user friendly except it has only one page. I have emailed the dev asking if he had plans to add pages.
