Does anyone else have trouble controlling this aircraft. I love this airplane, but the cva model is almost uncontrollable. If you remove your hands from the controls for a moment it rolls left violently and will drop into a death spiral in moments. It also stalls instantaneously at low speeds. I fly with high realism, so I wonder if there are any tweaks to the config to improve the flight characteristics of the CVA model.

James

FSX version works nice for me on a short test flight around YUL. trimmed it for level and used AP for heading and turns. No big surprises.

Using FSX.

Hum, is there adjustable aileron trim? Maybe I'm just missing that. I was flying with high realism and some wind shear but a subsequent flight with another aircraft was much smoother. I'll try it some more. Another question...do we have a Fokker? The CYOW-CYHZ route specifies it but I don't see it on the downloads

K, nevermind. Ran a test flight myself with no problems. I don't why I was having so much trouble with it last time. Also answered my fokker question. Looks like this is just an fs2004 aircraft. Does it work in fsx? I guess for now I'll fly the embraer for this route...

Best most realistic Twotter for FSX is the Aerosoft Payware Twotter.

Every version of FS I've ever used will sometimes just "bug out". Not sure why. But something that helps keep the gremlins at bay is to always load FS with the default cessna. Wait for the sim to stabalize (load all textures etc.), THEN change to the plane you're going to fly. Seems to help.

Yup, I do that too; start with a default aircraft, go to airport, then I switch planes when on pavement.
