Well, that's not really much help as far as I am concerned. Alot depends on your rig Ken, so it is difficult to give you a set up. Most of it is pretty much straight forward once you read the 2 guides that come with AS. Just go over everything in the 2 guides. It's pretty quick and painless. Heck, I figured it out and that's saying alot. |

Thanks, Bill. I'll give that a try. Ron, I appreciate your comments and I did have a look at the documentation. Like I said, I just installed the software and haven't had a chance to play with it much. I was looking for exactly what Bill sent me: some shortcuts to get started with. I'll get better later! |

I have been using this software for a while . and between a few old farts and i we have used the same setting for a while, with great set and forget results . if you open up your engine for it and then options the setting we have are as follows, updates and weather check check check blank check blank check blank blank check 10000 30 10 Your starting airport code in here setup and general check blank blank check check check check blank Dynamics blank checked checked blank checked time conver. -4 (for AST) top middle page visibility blank the rest checked (4) min. vis 0 max vis. 59 wind and turbulance check check blank blank check the rest empty surface speed 10 (grayed out) 0 100 30 30 blank upper page right side clouds and precipation check check blank check blank blank check check blank check cloud layer 5 10000 200 graphics blank wx-influenced wx-influenced server are both blank here.
