Does anyone have a set of USB headphones? I've read somewhere that in FSX if you do you can actually channel voice into the headphones while having all the other aircraft sounds emanate from your speakers, which they say just adds to the realism of what a pilot would hear in an actual cockpit. Wouldn't mind hearing from anyone who has a set and has played with this capability.

Hello Gary
USB has its own sound card. What you need to do is set youir FSX sound settings to use your speaker sound card, then set your communications (ie FSINN) to use your USB sound card. Unfortunatly I can not help you with SB4 about settings, because I do not use this program.

Use a press-button mic. :-)

I do not believe you would be able to split the FS sounds and the in game ATC between two sound devices. It will work fine to run FS through your normal speakers and either FSInn or Squawkbox through your headphones though.

Thanks for the replies, I've been thinking about getting a decent set of headphones (headphones to me have always just been headphones) but I guess I should be thinking about picking up a pair that work well with what I'm using them for.

Frank, I have sb4 but only because I couldn't get FSINN to work, I can't get into "Settings" in the program when I click it (settings button) I get a "comdlg.dll error" have you ever run across that?
