Just thought I'd log this in case anyone else experiences this phenomenon. What has been happening the last couple of weeks was that whenever I reached cruise at high altitudes FSX would just freeze. After much tinkering around and exploring Google I discovered that in my case it was a corrupted sound driver for my headset. I uninstalled and reinstalled the sound and everything has been fine since. I am using an AudioFX 5+1 headset and mic. I was also running ASX, CVAcars and Multicrew Experience. I clued in on the sound problem because I just couldn't get my microphone to work. Anyway, something to try if this happens to you. (AMD Phenom II X6 core 1055T; 4G ram; Geforce GTX 465; Windows 7 64bit) |
