Well we are 1 1/2 months into my tenure as H/C.
Things appear to be quiet in YVR but in the background things are a happening, so here is my report todate:
ALASKA multi - May 31
I really enjoyed this one; I hope those there did too. We had a fair turnout.
KAMLOOPS multi - June 28
Couldn't attend and I believe the turnout was low.
YELLOWKNIFE multi - July 26
Going to see if there really are diamonds up there.
One of the things I have enjoyed in the past is reading in the forum; reports on how you guys made out in the multi. Let's keep that going.
CYPK Airshow - August 20
In conjunction with the YVR FIR we will tentatively be doing an FS demonstration
NEEDED:
Advice from anyone who has put on one of these
Pilots to man the booth
Pilots to do an informal fly-in at YVR & CYPK
YVR Conference - Sept 9
This conference will probably be at CYPK again. Open to all FS enthusiasts. The keynote speaker will be Joel De Young who developed SB3. Then some ATC representatives and probably DS will say something about Level-D.
More on the above as we progress

For the CYPK fly into on Aug 20, do you want the pilots physically there or just online from our bathroom?

ACTUALLY, we used to do Hub Captain reports, back in the day... say, 2000... but, yes, it's great to have them back. Thanks Dale. You da man.
