Well gents, been playing around with the FSX demo. My previous remarks may be changing about this thing. My computer does not have a difficult time running it, and with some display settings set up right, is a pleasure to fly. I've copied my entire gauge directory over to FSX, and have tried a few planes and helo's out ...... I like what I see. One major thing I notice is , NO SHIMMERING! The mipmapping seems to work "smoother"..... the water effects are the biggest draw of horsepower and terrain detail a bit more realistic. So, some more playin' with it.....and I might have to start saving some money......maybe I'll get it....

I read somewhere that FSX does not work with SquawkBox.....THAT IS A REQUIREMENT above all else before I will purchase it. If I can't fly online I don't fly. Weird EH !! I have not been able to fly online for 3 months, and I have hardly even touched my computer. Back in the Saddle Sept 5th though....Yee Haaa
