FSnav is short for fsnavigator. It is an addon that costs 40$. you use it to create a flight plan. Much easier to use than the one in fs9. I use it all the time. Just do a search with your internet brouser for it. You can download the full version and use it for 20 flights FREE. Then you must pay for it.

Thanks Paul,

(I'm surprised that we must use payware for a multi.)

I don't know about downloading a program and figuring out how to use it with less than 24 hrs to the multi and only 1 hour of free/play time.

What's the destination???? Winthrop? I can figure out the rest.

I wholeheartedly agree, Ben.

Flightplans should not rely on an add-on.

You do not need FSNav for the multi but you do need an airplane with DME. Then the fire is on the YDC 134 radial at 42 DME.

Got it, thanks Dale.

My apologies. I didn't notice the radial instruction.

For those w/o FSNav, since we're departing Pentiction, not Princeton, close as I can figure, depart on a heading of 173 with an MSA of 9,000 to intercept the YDC 134R at about 42dme.

I would think you would want to fly to YDC then fly out on the 134 radial for 42 miles. No?

That would work too, hehehe.

Update: the evening news sez, they've pulled out the ground crews. Too dangerous at the Tripod Fires. It's up to us lads.
