Hi Guys,
Been a while since I've been here and i'm finally thinking about dusting off the ole' joystick and getting back into simming.

Just wanted to say hi and see who remembers me from the old days.

Regards,
Devon. (CVA714)

Hi Daryll - I have made many videos although not gaming/sim related...but no doubt i could be persuaded...

I'm actually on a short-term saving plan for a new PC with intent to invest into FS2020. So any thoughts anyone has about what to aim for CPU/GPU-wise is helpful.

Sadly I sold my Flight yoke a while back but I still have my trusty Microsoft Sidewinder Flightstick Pro.

Hey Devon,

I'm not likely to do an upgrade to my PC but currently I have an I5-6600K 3.5 GHz processor, 32 GB ram, and an NVidia GeForce 1060 6GB card running on Windows 10 64 Bit. This is within the recommended specs range (although a newer I7 / faster processor would be better and I'm sure a 2XXX series video card with Ray Tracing would be awesome).

Too bad about the yoke but i'm sure once you get the bug again that may become part of your future purchases :) There are some new cool yokes on the market today.

Look forward to seeing you back in the virtual skies again soon!

Cheers!

Update for you Daryl.

I have the new rig and I'm loaded with Vegas 12 (Studio) and ready to take orders for the new video.
Let me know once we have some new liveries up and ready.

I'm running MFS2020 so hoping we have liveries for TBM930 (thinking a 'CVA Rapid Courier' or 'VIP' theme) and the King Air - I will hold my nose and fly the A320 if need be as well.
I intend to get the PMDG 737 when it eventually arrives as well.

Hey Devon!

Nice - ad an update from my end as well....I DID decide to do an update LOL!!! I'm now running:

I7-7700K 4.2 GHz Quad core
32 GB ram
MSI GEForce RTX 2060 Super Ventus OC 8GB card

The game runs much better now with settings on High or Ultra for most. I'm going to tweak a bit but looking good now and enjoying. next step will be to start trying to get it to work with online / VATSIM again and CVAcars although I have not tried yet. I've heard that we should be able to do it with some beta drivers out for FSUIPC Version 7 I think...more info to follow.

Think I'm going to start a new forum topic as well for FS2020 related items :D

Cheers!
