I posted on the Orbx site for some help and they are working on it. It seems to be a system problem, not really Orbx... Sorry, I cant really help you on that. The only thing, maybe run the FTX Central as ADMIN and make sure it's not install in Program Files (x86) We all know that Win 7 or 8 doesn't like anything running from there.

Is there a problem with x86? Could you please explain a bit, for me. I've had many problems since getting windows 8.1.

I'm no expert but from what I understand (and I could be wrong) Win has a tendency to dislike application starting from X86 causing that app to not work properly. So no, I don't think it's a X86 problem, more like the way windows manages what app starts from where. From my personal experience you can avoid a lot of issues if you run "as admin" and not installed in X86. That's why I don't install anything in 86 if I can. Again I may be right off the tracks here.
