Abbotsford airshow. Got to go up in Historic Flight Foundation's DC-3. As an added treat, we had two Harvards and a T-6 form up on us.

Very, very cool!

 Now that is lucky to grab a ride on a DC3 outside of the Arctic. Beautiful Day for a DC3 lift.

Lucky you. I remember one year there when I was with Ormand Haydenbaily and his T-33 (worked on it and his Sea Fury he bought from Australia). Part of his ground crew and we used the Buick we had with us to start the T-bird with 12 volts and jumper cables, big spark when we connected and removed the jumpers! But it worked.

Looking for the pictures I took that year, flew in a Harvard with a bunch of others flying low over the Fraser for a bit. A great flgiht. I lost the toss on flying back seat in the rear seat of the T-bird both ways from and to Cold Lake. Darn!

If I find some pics will post them here.

Cheers Rod

You're back on the prairies for the summer, Rod? Couldn't stay away? Or did Harper call you up?

Nope, I am fully retired and just finished the last major work on the house here in Glace Bay, enjoying retirement to the fullest. If the weather improves tomorrow it is off to the golf course!

Cheers Rod
