Just got this, and as expected the scenery in the southern Alaska region looks great. I made the adjustments for compatability with the Ultimate Alaska scenery and Aerosoft PANC Airport. Finally, I can fly in and out of the Anchorage area without suffering performance loss. Even after turning down some of the Ult. Alaska effects, it was always miserable for me to fly this region. Not anymore.

I've been flying around but not much opportunity to get screenshots yet. Weather has been cloudy and still lots of snow up here.

I'm totally sick of winter and have cabin fever. This morning here in PA we are getting 3-6 inches snow. I've even joined the campaign here in Pennsylvania to capture and shoot that rabid groundhog Punxsutawney Phil who totally screwed up predicting an early Spring this year!

B.

Hi,

Good to hear that you are happy with the new Orbx SAK. I am waiting for the Orbx Northern California myself. Looking forward to fogs and giant redwoods...

We have also had enough snow this year. Night temperatures are still very cold, but day temperatures are now slowly warming up a few degrees above 0 C, so the 2 feet of snow is starting to disappear slowly.

Jaakko

Well another scenery from ORBX, they seem to be pumping them out these days!

Glad you're happy with it Barry, I might have to look at getting it. How much Hard drive space does it take up? My laptop is running out fast

While you two are sick of the cold, I'm down here sick of the warmth-haha. It rained yesterday through to this morning which was a welcom change, we haven't seen good rain like this since november

Hmmm. If it includes CYXY I might just have to pick it up. :)

It does indeed have a touch up Whitehorse and goes over to Watson Lake. I'll see about grabbing a few screens for you. the whole Whitehorse area got a nice make over. As soon as I heard part of the Yukon was involved I snap and bought it up like rare Quebec maple syrup. I will go do that for any scenery involving the 3 beautiful Territories of Canada including my home Yellowknife NWT. Instead I'm still roasting my Polar Bear tail in Texas

I went to the Orbx website last night and indeed it does include part of southern Yukon so I will be picking it up but, some screenshots would be nice.
Thanks Tim.

Bought it on Tuesday. Did an immediate flight YXY to Skagway.
I'm impressed. :)
