I always heard it as Louiseville, family-in-law live a bit north at Saint-Alexis-des-Monts. That's how I've seen it in all documentation.

Did find one reference as Louisville just now:
http://www.comeexplorecanada.com/quebec ... /mauricie/
But they also spelled Grande Piles wrong. LOL

Good evening to all,

Hi Robert,

Thanks for the documentation about the area of Louiseville. It is a coincidence because for vacation in september I go to "Auberge du Lac à l'Eau Claire" and " Pourvoirie du Lac Blanc" for 3 weeks at St Alexis-des- Monts. Sure your family-in-law must know these nice places. I have been there already twice . It is why I come back because for walking, cycling, rowing, fishing and RELAXING, it is the place to be.

Hope to see you in the Multi soon.

Best Regards

JC

"Eau Claire"

To me that's a City in the US State of WI. Very strong French Canadian influence and history there too and stretches all the way to Green Bay lol. A known fact in WI most in that state don't know about French Canada's history in the Northern part. That is one beautiful B&B and a real hoot when you have a backyard eggbeater lol, now that is world class. I just closed on buying my first home in the US in San Antonio for 35 Canadian Gold Maple leafs. Yep gold here is currency in TX and the most valuable gold is Canadian atm. So i couldn't resist buying a house. Now I have a place in TX and Yellowknife :D . All set now for when retirement comes. Does anyone know Canadian Flag Protocol by chance?? I have my US flag and Texas flag on one pole with TX flying under the US, Can I do the same with Canada and put NWT under Canada on the same pole? I just want to make sure I don't insult my Canadian Home.

Now that I look again, I guess my dock is much smaller - the lake is similar though.

That's just an island beyond the dock. The lake extends both sides.
