The default 737-800 in FSX with CVA colors keeps resetting my fuel thus throwing off the used fuel amount.
This has happened twice in the last 3 flights.
Any thoughts on what may be causing this?

This is the log from todays flight:

The onboard fuel amount at takeoff was about 27,000 lbs before it reset.

Hi Harry!
You know I've seen similar in CVACars if I switch aircraft after loading and connecting that program but the wording is a little different. What are you using for flight logging? CVACars? FSAcars? Someone using the same flight logging software as you may have the correct response.

okay, I can see now by your pirep that you are using CVAcars and the wording is different so I don't think you switched aircraft after loading the program so I'm baffled as to why you would get a mid air refuel as well.

Gary

Yes CVAcars.

I don't recall ever having this problem with the Posky 738.
I do know that in FS9 if you set the weather or time after setting the fuel the fuel would often reset to 100%.
I've been careful to keep this in mind in FSX and usually don't have a problem.

It is possible that you accidentally pressed some keyboard button that activated mid-air fueling. Check your FSX's default keyboard commands in option section and see if you can disable the button command for mid-air refueling. Also, check all option settings of FSX for mid-air refueling and deactivate it.

Do you set unlimited fuel setting on FSX?

I can only agree with Aharon. Could you have default FSX settings to cause that? I've had to turn mine off, just like turning on no crashes for VATSIM.

That is because Cal uses fancy PMDG MD-11 and for whopping 79 bucks, this overpriced plane better has fuel jestison feature in event of needing emergency landing which requires fuel dumping before making landing.

No need to diss anyone, Aharon, for their choices, if that's what you intended. We are all aware that you know your way around freeware better than anyone.

The "FUEL DUMP" for ANY FSX aircraft is "CTRL SHIFT D"
and it is enabled by default.

Does this cool trick allow us to regulate the flow of fuel dump??
