What are your thoughts on Windows 8?
Worth buying or just asking for problems?
:?:

I would wait and see. For me Win7 works fine at the moment.

I'm still running Vista on my laptop but when I get a new PC I'll probably get Windows 7, as it doesn't have a tile type menu, which windows 8 apparently has.

The cutting edge leads to too much bleeding for this boy.

I'm staying away from it with a 10 foot pole. It's the Vista nightmare reincarnated :D (although once they patched the hell out of Vista it got a little more stable - but still crap).

Cheers!

Staying with Windows 7, never go to a new operating system until at least service pack 1 is out, with Win 8 I don't think I will change until I am forced to.

I'm staying W7 64. Vista caused my USCG unit too many health issues related to stress and lead to higher smoking rates and Alcohol consumption by the IT's and the AF cyber Sq at SA.

I am going to pick up 8 this weekend and install it at work . ( on the ship) Its been a really tough year with both my father and baby brother passing with in 3 months and trying to get use to sailing on anything bigger then 200 feet ( 730 feet) and salary adjustment ( down ) so when my back room is finished over the winter I will get back into the air on line again. I like some of the features of win 8 and its suppose to be backward capable ,
