Hot damned! My 3 girls passed the semi finals! The eldest is in Miss Quebec and the two others in Miss Teen Quebec. They attended 2 beach parties at Pointe Calumet, a day at Sanair Racetrack (I assisted the photographer - that was a hoot), we all went on a cruise on the Cavalier Maxime in the old port, they had a photoshoot and several courses (self-defense, public speaking, posture, etc). And this weekend we find out what's in store for round 2. WOOHOO! This was at Sanair, me and the group: That's them in the top row: Moving stage that passed in front of the spectators: They took group shots in front of every stand: Had to take a pic of the Cobra:

Ugh, my eldest is taking an Esthetics course at a professional school. I'm most likely going to be a volunteer some time during the year for face stuff - they have to practice on men too. There's also a hairdressing department so I might get shipped there for a tune-up (she doesn't have hairdressing on her program, but the youngest one wants to go that way).
But waxing IS on her curriculum, eek. I'm outta there if I see anything about body hair removal on a door.

I think they consider it a stress test. If they can shave a man, they can do any woman. Of course nothing is stopping them from making all sorts of flower patterns on the back of the legs without us knowing.
