Hey All,
I posted a 9 part video series on youtube showing a short flight from Charlottetown to Halifax.
I did it to show my current "flow", though I did things a little differently while shooting the video because it felt weird. However, it was a close proximation to what I normally do. I'm looking for answers to some of my questions, and also showing that anyone can fly the more complex airliners that are out there now. If I can do it anyone can!

There is a link to the first video. Check it out, and comment. (also tell me why my autobrakes are tripped during that takeoff, it happens about 50% of the time for no apparant reason)

Thanks!
Craig.

I'd check the iFly forums. It may be an issue with their add-on.

Liking the video.

Comments: I would have cut all the preliminary chat and just started it up, 'cause so far I've watched pt1 and 2 minutes into pt2 and you haven't started yet.

There, you started at 2:40, add 2:09 for pt1 and that's nearly 5 minutes before doing anything.

But the idea behind your videos is very good for beginners. And most importantly, we hear your voice clearly.

Suggestion: Don't narrate on the fly unless you're a pro. I'd make a narrate checklist that matches your start-up checklist. That would get you into the technie stuff so much faster, it would help to keep your audience until the last clip.

Also, I'd make things like the FMC much larger so it's easier to read the text.

Overall, good stuff!
