2010 Winter Olympics!

 

 

The 2010 Winter Olympics are coming to Vancouver!

Canadian Virtual Airlines is working with the organizing commitee to provide air service between Vancouver and the Whistler village ski resort.

Fixed Wing aircraft will depart Sea Island, Coal Harbour or Pitt Meadows Seaplane bases. Amphibian's can also depart Pitt Meadows directly. Arriving Green Lake.

Helo's will depart Vancouver Helijet (South Terminal) Vancouver Harbour Heli (CBC7) and Pitt Meadows. Arriving Whistler Municipal Heli (CBE9)

Northbound traffic to fly Indian Arm, Squamish, Cheakamus River.

Southbound traffic to fly Cheakamus River, Squamish, Howe Sound Arrival.

While not required to enjoy this charter, the use of FSAddon's incredible Vancouver+ scenery package is highly recommended.

We have leased several aircraft to meet our commitment to the project. Click the photo's to download the CVA paints for these aircraft. Because the helo's are leased on an "as needed" basis from another helicopter company, they are not available in CVA colors.

The incredible Bell 412 by Jordan Moore. Arguably the best Helo ever produced for flightsim, and it's FREE! Look for the B412 package from http://hovercontrol.com/

Leased on an "as needed" basis, the 412 will be used for transporting personel and material to areas accessible only by chopper!

The Bell/Textron model 430. Also available at http://hovercontrol.com/ look for the file Gmax_Bell_430.zip

Also used only as need, the 430 will be used to ferry VIP's to and from the village.
