Canadian Virtual Airlines - Rotary Wing Operations

CVA Halifax is proud and excited to be a part of the rapidly growing rotary wing flight simulation community. Our helicopter flying program is one of the first structured environments provided by a virtual airline in Canada and mirrors real world operations in both scope of operations and equipment used.

All CVA rotary wing flying training is provided by HoverSafe Academy - one of the finest flightsim instructional sites on the 'net. Once you have achieved your basic level of certification you can commence flying operations from the Halifax Hub utilizing one of our four airframe types. Links, reviews and information on suitable helicopters available will be provided here on a timely basis. Excellent sources include avsim.com, flightsim.com and hovercontrol.com.

Alternate helicopter -- an alternative to this helicopter which never really did provide a 'realistic' feel for a heavy chopper of it's type is the Jordan Moore Hovercontrol UH60/SH60/HH60

I have test flown approximately 50 rotary wing models - including several pay ware designs - and have yet to find a better performing helicopter for FS 2000/2002/2004.
